I thought it was 7, but then I looked at the wording more closely.

it could be 15 because the question didnt ask how many were still alive. you have to be just as accurate asking these as you do when your thinking to solve one, by not making that point 8 or 15 is correctie. if he walked out the door and 7 sheep were dead 8 are alive thats still 15 he has
